Chanel's Party During New York Fashion Week Day 1

Just in time with the kick off of the New York Fashion Week, Chanel held a party for the re-opening of its Soho boutique. Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Rachel Bilson, Alexa Chung, Liv Tyler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Rachel Zoe were among the guests that were welcomed by Karl Lagerfeld.

Leighton Meester is a certified fashionista, not only on-screen but on off-screen as well. Last night she was seen at the after party for "The Romantics" in a pair denim from Proenza Schouler for J Brand denim capsule collection. This high-waisted and hand-painted blue jeans was included in Proenza Schouler’s fall 2010 collection. To complete her fab look, Leighton paired the most coveted denim with a black half-sleeve T-shirt and suede lace-up Christian Louboutin booties.
